RWJMS is proud to participate in the national Take Your Child to Work Day on:

Thursday April 26th, 2018

You are invited to participate in this year’s program! The day’s schedule allows for participation to be flexible and enjoyable, with several interactive workshops planned for both Piscataway and New Brunswick campuses throughout the morning and afternoon. The children will also have breakfast with Dean Gabriel and lunch with Dean Hecker and wrapping up the day with some ice cream and movie. Click Here to register.

Workshops are intended for children ages 7-17 with a supervising adult at each workshop. Parents are welcomed to accompany their child.

Please Note: Workshops for children ages 16-17 are available in Piscataway Only.

Workshops Include:

New Brunswick Piscataway
  • Hand Washing Techniques- teaching about good hand washing techniques, importance of hand washing; demonstration and interactive session.
  • Learn about Computer Setup - individual components, assemble and ensure it is operational. 2-Computer Components - presentation of inner computer components; identify and determine their role in the functionality of the computer.
  • IT Snow Day Website Update - Learn how to modify html code to update a mock RWJMS website home page to implement the school closure notification for inclement weather.
  • Explore a real heart (touch and learn parts), arts and crafts related to the heart. (dept will provide gloves and jacket)
  • Infectious Disease & Pulmonary
  • Learn how to write a Press Release.
  • Interview Your Parent/Staff.
