How to Apply

To apply to our program, candidates must use the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) of the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) www.aamc.org/eras.  Our application deadline is October 31.

After a preliminary review of your completed application, we may contact you via e-mail to schedule an interview.  Interviews for invited applicants take place from October through mid-January.

You must submit the following documents to us through ERAS:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal statement indicating your interests and career goals
  • Copy of USMLE part I & II scores
  • Copy of ECFMG certificate (IMGs)
  • Copy of visa (IMGs)
  • Official copy of medical school transcript and documents certifying completion of any postgraduate training
  • Three letters of recommendation – one of which must be from someone who can attest to your capabilities and interest in neurology
  • A comprehensive recommendation letter from your medical school’s Dean’s office
  • A comprehensive recommendation letter from the director of your PGY-1 medicine program.  If you have not yet done your PGY1 year, this can be submitted during that year
