How to Apply

All applications must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) by November 15 of the year prior to which the applicant will matriculate into the program. For more information about ERAS, please click here.

The department does not have a cut-off for USMLE scores, however, scores on USMLE Steps I, II & III are taken into consideration. University policy does not allow sponsorship of H1 or H1B visas, but does accept J1 visas sponsored by the ECFMG. Age and year of graduation from medical school are not criteria for applying. Please review our housestaff contract and institutional policies found on our GME website.

After a preliminary review of your completed application, we will contact you via e-mail to schedule an interview. Interviews for invited applicants take place from October through January.

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal Statement
  • Copy of USMLE Scores (Steps I, II & III)
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation
  • Copy of ECFMG certificate (IMGs)
  • Copy of Visa (IMGs)
