Organizational Change From Facility-based to Community-based Employment Services

This presentation will address the complexity of organizational change from facility-based to inclusive, community-based employment services. Specifically, the presentation will provide examples of how other organizations have undertaken the change process, including suggested steps for getting started and strategies for aligning the organizational structure, staff practices, integrated employment outcomes, marketing, and more. Common issues and barriers will be discussed, along with approaches that have been used successfully by other organizations. Finally, the presentation will address strategies for advancing organizational change at the state level.
