Rhina Acevedo, MD
Assistant Professor


Dr. Rhina Acevedo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. She joined the department in 1999 and completed a fellowship training in Obstetrics/Maternity Care. For many years, she served as Medical Director to Trinity Health Center (Catholic Charities) and provided direct clinical care to the uninsured population in Perth Amboy. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Program Director in the New Brunswick Family Medicine Residency Program where she currently supervises the residents Maternity Care training.

Her areas of interest include Resident Education, Maternity Care, and providing care to Underserved populations/Community Outreach.
