Hana Aviv, Ph.D.

Interests:

I have been a director of Cytogenetic Laboratories for over 25 years. Although my experience includes all aspects of Cytogenetics, I have been engaged in Cancer Diagnostics, with special emphasis on hematological malignancies for the last 13 years. The volume and complexity of tests has grown steadily since the Laboratory’s opening in 2005, and today we handle more than 6,000 tests annually. My research interest lies in the development novel genetic markers for diagnosis of disease type, disease progression and response to specific pharmaceutical agents.
