Interests:

Dr Asima Arslan is a staff pathologist in the Hematopathology division of Pathology.
She is involved in the diagnostic workup of hematological disorders and malignancies in adult and pediatric patients including evaluating blood, bone marrow and lymph node samples, flow cytometry and integration of cytogenetics FISH and molecular testing. She enjoys teaching medical student, resident and fellows and serves as co director of the coagulation lab.
Interest include establishing a coagulation consultation service

Studied the preneoplastic and neoplastic processes in liver explants|
