Research

Division faculty, Dr. Moorthy and Dr. Boneparth are actively involved in research projects in pediatric rheumatology both within the division and in collaborative projects.  Faculty are assisted in their research efforts each year by undergraduate and graduate students.  Our physicians have presented abstracts and published articles pertaining to Pediatric Rheumatology.

  • Title - Health-related quality of life measure in pediatric lupus

Objective: To conduct cross cultural validation of Simple Measure of Impact of Lupus Erythematosus in Youngsters© (SMILEY©) (Data analysis stage)

  • Title-ARCHIVE (A Registry for Children with Vasculitis e-entry).  A Project Towards Establishment of a US/Canadian Diagnostic Registry of Children with Chronic Vasculitis.

Objective: Multinational study to describe clinical features and response to treatment of patients with vacsulitides.
