Directions to the Rutgers Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at RWJMS

 

From the South via the New Jersey Turnpike:

Take exit 9-New Brunswick to Route 18 North through New Brunswick and across the Raritan River. Right exit onto River Rd. Go half a mile to the second light, and turn right on Hoes Lane West. Follow directions given below from Hoes Lane.*

From the Garden State Parkway North or South, or From the North via the New Jersey Turnpike:

Take the GSP north to exit 127 or south to exit 129 to I-287 North; or the New Jersey Turnpike to exit 10 to I-287 North. Take I-287 to the Bound Brook/Highland Park Exit; turn left at the end of the exit onto River Rd. At the third traffic light (about 3 miles) turn left onto Hoes Lane. Follow directions given below from Hoes Lane.*

From Route 287 Northbound:

From the Boundbrook/Highland Park exit, turn left at the end of the exit onto River Rd. At the third traffic light (about 3 miles) turn left onto Hoes LaneWest. Follow directions given below from Hoes Lane.*

From Route 287 Southbound:

From exit 9 Boundbrook/Highland Park, turn right onto River Rd. At the third traffic light (about 3 miles) turn left onto Hoes Lane West. Follow directions given below from Hoes Lane.*

*From Hoes Lane to Visitor Parking:

Proceed about a mile to a sign for Rutgers; a short distance later is a sign for Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, which is at the far end of the lot, Visitors turn right into Parking Lot C for metered parking. Visitors to the Community Mental Health Center continue about 500 feet and turn left at the sign for metered parking in Lot B. The GSBS office (room 102) is on the ground floor of the RWJMS Research Tower, the largest building adjacent to the parking lot. If you use the main entrance (#2 on the map below), turn left and go past the elevators, through a set of doors and to the right-most hallway.  If you park in Lot B, proceed across the street and past the UBHC building (#10).  Enter the Medical School building near the flagpole circle and proceed to the end of the hallway, up the stairs, go past the ATM and to the left-most hallway.

Mass Transit:

Taxi service is available from the New Brunswick train station 3.5 miles to Rutgers Piscataway Campus.
