Student Support Hours and Location

Technical Support location and hours for the Piscataway campus.

A Field Service Engineer (Technical Support) will be available in the Academic Resource Center (ARC) or computer lounge area every day during the following hours:  10:00AM - 11:00AM | 12:00Noon - 1:00PM

In addition to the aforementioned hours, you can schedule an appointment with one of our support personnel by e-mailing us at RWJPISCHELP@umdnj.edu

Technical Support is located in the basement, room NB 24, of the Kessler Teaching Labs Wing.


Faculty and Students may generate a heat ticket through the Automatic Ticket Generator (ATG):

Be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Your name, contact information including building and room # (if you are calling for someone else, please provide their name and contact information).
  • Location of the device (if different from yours).
  • Type of device including description (i.e., iPhone 4S, iPad3).
  • Complete description of the trouble you are experiencing (i.e., unable to access files on hard drive, unable to print, etc).

Upon receipt of your ticket a mobility support specialist will contact you to schedule an appointment to address your needs.
