The Robert Wood Johnson Medical Group Hosts Vascular Screening

 

MONROE, NJ - The Division of Vascular Surgery of The Robert Wood Johnson Medical Group will hold a free vascular screening for the public from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19. The screening is recommended for those who experience painful, heavy or achy legs, or have visible leg veins including varicose veins and spider veins, and chronic leg swelling. 

The screenings will take place in Suite 104 at 18 Centre Drive (off Applegarth Road) in Monroe Township. Led by Randy Shafritz, MD, assistant professor of surgery at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, physicians will conduct baseline screenings and interviews to discuss patient concerns and possible treatment. Screenings will include questionnaires, information sessions on current treatments and a brief consultation with a vein specialist.

The screening is free; however advanced registration is required by calling 609-655-5178.
