High-Risk Pregnancy Expert to Lead Maternal/Fetal Medicine Programs at
UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and
Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital

 

New Brunswick, NJ – UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital welcome physician Todd Rosen, MD, assistant professor of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive services and director of maternal-fetal medicine at the medical school and director of the regional perinatal center at the hospital. A perinatologist, Dr. Rosen is a member of The Robert Wood Johnson Medical Group, the school’s multi-disciplinary faculty practice with approximately 500 physicians encompassing more than 200 sub-specialties, who have privileges at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Dr. Rosen is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as in the subspecialty of maternal-fetal medicine. He specializes in high-risk pregnancies including multiple pregnancies, prenatal diagnosis and pre-term labor. Dr. Rosen is well-published and lectures frequently on the prenatal care of women and fetuses during high-risk pregnancies and birth. Before joining Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Dr. Rosen was on faculty at Columbia University College of Physician and Surgeons, where he served as attending physician in the division of maternal-fetal medicine and director of perinatal research.

A graduate of Rutgers University College of Engineering, Dr. Rosen earned his medical degree at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, Newark, NJ, and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, NY. He also completed a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine and afterward, served on the faculty of New York University School of Medicine. He then served as attending physician and director of maternal-fetal medicine of Morristown Memorial Hospital and the Atlantic Health System.
