Summer Science Scholars Academy

The Summer Science Scholars Academy (S³A) is a fee-based four-week program designed for high-achieving secondary school students and/or those in gifted-and-talented programs.

The curriculum focuses on exploring the human body through a series of lectures, organ laboratories and clinical experiences.

Anatomy Science & Health Careers
Physiology Clinical Skills
Research Methods in Health Public Health
Patient-Centered Medicine Research in Biomedical Sciences



  • students entering grade 12 or June 2014 graduates
  • minimum grade point average of 3.5 (out of a 4.0 scale)
  • participation in a structured health or science summer program(preferred)


2014 Program Dates: June 23rd - July 18th (Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 4PM)

Our program is no longer accepting applicants for 2014.

Application Requirements
Students wishing to apply for the Summer Science Scholars Academy must submit the following:

Housing is not available.

† S³A scholarships may be available on the basis of financial need to those accepted. Accepted students applying for a scholarship must submit documentation from their school confirming eligibility for free or reduced-cost lunch.
