Advisory Board

The Advisory Board provides guidance to the SCNJ in meeting its goals and objectives. Members assist the SCNJ by contributing to the development of new interventions, collecting and reviewing educational materials, protocols and guidelines, providing guidance and technical assistance in the member's area of expertise, and assisting in the dissemination of materials to their perspective organizations.

Case Management Committee

The Case Management Committee provides the Center's bereavement professionals with a forum to review services offered by the Center and evaluate whether the needs of the families, child care providers and community are being addressed.


Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Subcommittee/Child Fatality Review/Department of Children and Families


The SCNJ participates in this committee of the Department of Children and Families.


Expert Leadership Group of the Maternal Child Health Bureau Safe Infant Sleep Systems Intergration Project, Georgetown University National Center for Education in Maternal Child Health


The SCNJ is a member of this national committee.  One of its charges is to develop safe infant sleep education and intervention protocols and related material.
