DDLS Spring 2014
Students Leading Their Transition Planning Process April 25, 2014 - Duration 2.75 hrs Teresa Grossi, PhD It has been shown that students with self-determination skills are more likely to be engaged in post-school employment. Students with varying levels of skills and abilities can actively participate in and lead their transition planning process. These skills can and should be carried over to the adult provider planning meeting process and used to prepare for job interviews. This interactive session will review a variety of self-determination materials, examples of ways to teach in various settings and formats, and share ideas for implementation.
