This session will focus on essential skills that youth and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders need to successfully transition from school to adult life and employment. In addition, the session will include information on transition assessment, teaching strategies, and collaboration between school and adult services. Through use of real-life examples, Dr. Schall will illustrate essential skills, share support strategies, and discuss the application of these concepts in the field.
