Lisa Corliss, MA

Lisa Corliss is a Training and Consultation Specialist for the Community-Based Instruction (CBI) Project at The Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities. She provides project training and technical assistance regarding best practices in the implementation, management, and sustainability of CBI.

 

Prior to working at The Boggs Center, Lisa was a special education teacher in the public school setting with various grade levels and populations including students with multiple disabilities, behavioral disabilities, and autism. In this capacity, she developed specialized programs designed to prepare students with disabilities to transition from school to community life. Lisa is dedicated to enhancing instructional programming and the improvement of transition planning in school systems by employing person centered approaches for quality CBI.

Lisa earned a Master’s degree in Education Leadership from Montclair State University, a Master’s degree in Classroom Teaching and Leadership from Pacific Lutheran University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Montana State University-Billings.
