Aging and End of Life Issues with Adults with
Developmental Disabilities

With support from the Division of Developmental Disabilities, The Boggs Center provides customized training and technical assistance and presents workshops on coping with grief and loss, successful aging, and end-of-life issues unique to adults with developmental disabilities. Agencies, family members, and health care providers alike benefit from exploring the realities of these topics as they are experienced by individuals aging with disabilities and their care providers.

Workshops sponsored by The Boggs Center include:

• Grief and Loss: Supporting Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Navigate their Loss Journeys; and
• People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Growing Old: Understanding and Supporting Age-Related Health Changes and End of Life Care.
