Favorite areas of interest include non-cardiac surgery in the cardiac patient, thoracic anesthesia, and off pump cardiac surgery. My favorite part of my job is educating the residents and fellows. I enjoy teaching our trainees tips and tricks that I have picked up along the way, especially in regard to procedural skills. I also really enjoy educating them in the operating room environment on anesthetic principles.
