About the Robert Wood Johnson AIDS Program

The Robert Wood Johnson AIDS Program (RWJAP) at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (UMDNJ-RWJMS) is an affiliate of the Robert Wood Johnson Health Network serving Central New Jersey and surrounding areas. UMDNJ-RWJMS is a well established and rapidly growing center for education, research, and tertiary level comprehensive services. UMDNJ-RWJMS has seen significant growth in recent years with strong linkages established throughout the Robert Wood Johnson Health Network. Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH), a 521 bed tertiary care facility is the major teaching affiliate of UMDNJ-RWJMS. The Bristol Meyers Squibb Children’s Hospital, a 72 bed facility providing comprehensive tertiary pediatric care is an integral part of RWJUH. Most recently, RWJUH has expanded perinatal services by the addition of a regional high risk obstetrical unit and a neonatal intensive care unit.
