Employment Opportunities at Rutgers Child Health Institute of New Jersey
The Child Health Institute of New Jersey is a comprehensive biomedical research center and the cornerstone of the Rutgers University children's academic health campus in New Brunswick. The groundbreaking research of the Institute's scientists is integrated with the clinical approaches of pediatric physicians to understand the causes, and improve the therapy and prevention, of childhood illness.
The Institute is a vibrant scientific community, with extensive interactions between our immunologists, neuroscientists, stem cell and cancer biologists, and metabolism and endocrine scientists. Scientists across these different disciplines regularly collaborate and share a multitude of different forums for data presentations, journal clubs, and internal reviews of manuscripts and grant applications.
The Institute is fully committed to providing its researchers with the resources they need to successful perform collaborative research projects including: laboratory space, access to shared instrumentation including tissue culture facilities (with a BSL2+ for lentiviral work), quantitative real time PCR, gel imaging, ultracentrifuges, calcium imaging, etc.
The Child Health Institute is actively seeking qualified candidates to fill a variety of research opportunities. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply to any of our current job openings.
