The faculty and staff of the WHI warmly welcome you to our site. Since the Institute opened in 2000, the WHI has witnessed tremendous growth in both the number of clinical trials that we are involved as well as the number of educational outreach programs that we offer to residents of New Jersey. Our Institute, is a part of the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Because of the expertise of WHI faculty and staff, we are not only nationally recognized, but also internationally recognized. For example, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, an organization of over 40,000 health care providers, recognized our teaching video for women with chronic gynecologic pain as a superb teaching tool. The video was selected for inclusion in the Hall of Fame.

In addition to education, our Institute is involved in several state-of-the-art clinical trials directed to the health care needs of women that we believe will make a difference in women’s health, and will enhance their overall well-being. We welcome you to be a part of one of our clinical trials or participate in one of the educational programs that we offer.

We hope that you find our site useful and we welcome your comments.
