Rutgers Physicians Named “Jersey Choice” in Multiple Specialties

New Jersey Monthly Announces 2015 List of Top Doctors Statewide

2015 Jersey Choice Top Doctors logoNew Brunswick, NJ—Two dozen physicians with Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical Group have been named “Jersey Choice Top Doctors” for 2015, according to New Jersey Monthly, which released its top physicians list in its November 2015 issue.

This select group of physicians is among 987 New Jersey doctors chosen for their expertise in their respective specialties.

The Robert Wood Johnson Medical Group physicians selected represent a diverse range of specialties, including endocrinology, neurology, surgical subspecialties, allergy/immunology, maternal-fetal medicine, oncology, and internal medicine. One-third comprise pediatric specialists in such areas as cardiology, critical care, emergency medicine, endocrinology, gastroenterology, infectious disease, nephrology, and urology.

In addition to our full-time clinical faculty, 60 members of the medical school’s volunteer faculty were named to the 2015 list.

The Jersey Choice list is based on an independent statewide survey of physicians, who were asked to identify the physicians they would choose for themselves or a family member. An advisory panel of experts then further honed the list.

This week’s announcement by New Jersey Monthly follows the August recognition of more than 60 Robert Wood Johnson Medical Group physicians to the 2015-2016 Best Doctors in America List®.

“We continue to be proud of the achievements of the physicians of the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School,” says Sherine E. Gabriel, MD, MSc, dean, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. “Statewide, regionally, or nationally, these exceptional physicians continue to be recognized among their peers for the high-quality health care they provide for patients, whether in primary care or highly specialized tertiary or quaternary care. Indeed, every member of the RWJ health care team is committed to providing the highest quality care for every patient, every day.”
