Janice Mehnert has been appointed associate director for clinical research at NYU Langone Health's Perlmutter Cancer Center. Dr. Mehnert is also a clinical program director and medical oncologist at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and is associate professor of medi- cine at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Melanie Prusakowski was promoted to associate dean for admissions at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Dr. Prusakowski has led the school’s admissions team since 2016 and has been a pediatric emergency medicine physician for Carilion Clinic since 2008.
Asaad H. Samra leads Samra Plastic Surgery in four locations in Central New Jersey. Dr. Samra has been the medical director for The Center for Wound Healing in Bayshore Hospital since 2008 and has
led that team to receive two Center of Excellence awards. He has served as chief of surgery of Bayshore Medical Center, in addition to currently being a trustee of the Bayshore Medical Center Foundation.
