Jaclyn Hepworth, PA

Jaclyn (Jackie) Hepworth is a physician assistant in the Division of Head and Neck Surgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her undergraduate education in Biochemistry and Biology at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, with capstone research in epidermal growth factor receptor activity in Drosophila melanogaster fruit flies. She worked in the biopharmaceutical industry for several years before completing Master of Physician Assistant Sciences from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University, with capstone research in the mechanisms of monoclonal antibody treatment resistant breast cancers. From there, she worked as a physician assistant at WellSpan Family and Pediatric Medicine – Rothsville in central Pennsylvania for several years. Since moving to Rutgers, she continues to build relationships with patients in the Head and Neck Surgery clinic and works on clinical trials when not assisting in the operating room. In her personal time, she is a self-taught sewer, with recent obsession with quilting projects, an avid Boston Bruins fan and loves a good meal with family and friends.
