Financial Aid

Applying for Financial Aid

In order to receive financial aid to attend Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) Financial Aid Application.

Cost of Attendance

All cost of attendance (COA) information is available on Rutgers Scarlet Hub. Students are also encouraged to use the GradSense Budget Calculator or similar tools to create a personal budget to ensure they do not exceed the COA.

FAFSA

Find everything you need to complete the FAFSA and apply for financial aid, including forms, the RBHS Federal School Code, information about completing the federal direct loan master promissory note (MPN), and entrance counseling details on Rutgers Scarlet Hub.

Additional Funding

If seeking additional funding, students can consider a PLUS Loan for Graduate or Professional Students or private loan. If requesting a PLUS Loan, students must submit both the PLUS application and MPN for Graduate or Professional Students.
