Nicholas Martin, MD

Dr. Nicholas Martin is a general internist and clinician-educator whose work sits at the intersection of primary care, medical education, and health equity. He completed his internal medicine residency in the Primary Care Track at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he developed a focus on clinical teaching and leadership in inclusion and belonging. Prior to joining Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, he served as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. At Rutgers, he continues to teach medical students in the Physical Diagnosis and Patient Centered Medicine and Health Equity (PCMHE) curricula while precepting residents at the Eric B. Chandler Health Center. His academic interests include clinical reasoning, health equity, and inclusive medical education.
