Academic Clinical Experiences Summer Program
The Academic Clinical Experiences Summer (ACES) Program was developed in partnership with Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and the following undergraduate universities: Bryn Mawr College, Haverford College, Princeton University, and Swarthmore College. The program provides an intensive summer experience after sophomore year of undergrad, as well as mentoring, and an opportunity for linkage to enter medical school.
RWJMS Early-Assurance Program (REAP)
The medical school, in conjunction with Rutgers University, Seton Hall University, Saint Elizabeth University, Monmouth University, and The College of New Jersey, has an articulated program for educationally and/or economically disadvantaged undergraduates interested in careers in medicine.
Joint Bachelor/Medical Degree Program

Students apply to the program in their fourth semester at Rutgers. Selected students will obtain bachelor and medical degrees in seven years. Joint PharmD/MD Program
This unique and highly selective program — the first of its kind in the U.S. — is designed to create an elite cadre of interdisciplinary practitioners, highly skilled in the disciplines of both pharmacy and medicine, and poised to provide leadership in collaborative clinical practice, academic research, public policy, and the pharmaceutical industry. This program will be directed by dual degree program committees in the School of Pharmacy and the medical school. Successful applicants will be admitted to Robert Wood Johnson Medical School upon their successful completion of the PharmD program, and will not be required to take the MCAT exam. Only currently enrolled PharmD students at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy are eligible to apply for admission.
