Bio
Alex Plamm is an Assistant Professor of Nephrology in the Department of Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. His clinical interests include delaying the progression of chronic kidney disease and hypertension. He has specialized training in diagnosing and treating glomerular disorders. Dr. Plamm is actively educating medical students, residents, and fellows at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and has repeatedly been recognized as an outstanding educator.
Dr. Plamm completed medical school at New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his residency at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School, followed by a Fellowship in Nephrology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Additionally, he pursued a Fellowship in Glomerular Disease at the Glomerular Disease Study and Trial Consortium.
