Meet Dr. Mendoza

Andrew Mendoza, MD is a cardiologist at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) in New Brunswick, NJ. He graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his residency training and cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine - Chattanooga, where he served as Chief Fellow. He then pursued an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at St. Francis Hospital, Division of Cardiac Imaging. During his medical training, Dr. Mendoza was honored with the Jerry and Jenny Reves Diversity Scholarship and the Dean’s Scholarship. He has extensive clinical experience in non-invasive cardiology, holding Level 3 certification in cardiac CT and MRI, as well as Level 2 certification in nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. Dr. Mendoza is deeply committed to clinical research in cardiac imaging and has a passion for medical education at all levels.
