Asim Raja, MD

Asim Raja is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine. He was born in Jhelum, Pakistan, attended G. Sir Syed College in Rawalpindi, Pakistan as an undergraduate, and received his medical education from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. 

Dr. Raja completed a postgraduate residency in Anesthesiology and a Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology fellowship at Albany Medical Center. His areas of interest include cardiovascular physiology, 3D echo for the mitral valve, complex obstetric patients with cardiac anomalies, and structural heart cases.
