Bio

Binoy Chandy is an associate professor at the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He returns to his regional home in the northeast after nearly thirteen years at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, the largest children’s hospital in the world. He completed his fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital, where for the past eight years he served as associate professor and director of the fellowship program.

Most recently, he completed the certification in Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology, the new sub-certification offered by the American Board of Medical Specialties. Additionally, he is American board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery after having completed a fellowship at the University of Bern in Switzerland.

Dr. Chandy has published numerous articles and presented at national meetings. He trained at Thomas Jefferson University for medical school and completed his residency at Louisiana State University. Clinically, he is proficient in all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology, with a focus in congenital head and neck masses and airways. In the area of facial plastics, he has unique experience in rhinoplasty of the developing child.
