Biography

Dr. Bryan Broderick is an Associate Program Director in the Internal Medicine Residency Program and an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

He earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed his Internal Medicine training in the Osler Medical Residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he also served as an Assistant Chief of Service/Chief Resident. After completing a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Johns Hopkins, he joined Rutgers, where he supervises trainees on the medicine floors, the pulmonary consult service, and in the intensive care unit.

He holds a Master of Education in Health Professions degree with a concentration in educational research and a Post-Master's Certificate in Evidence-Based Teaching from the Johns Hopkins University School of Education.

 

Clinical Interests and Description

Dr. Broderick is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine.  He specializes in diagnosing and treating lung diseases, respiratory failure, and critical illnesses. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to his patients while advancing bedside teaching and clinical excellence.

 

Research Interests and Description

As an Associate Program Director in the Internal Medicine Residency, he is passionate about medical education and training the next generation of physicians. His research interests include curriculum development, instructional strategies, and evidence-based teaching.
