Meet Dr. Shindler
Dr. Shindler joined the Cardiology Division in 1984 following his tenure as Medical Chief Resident. A leader in echocardiography including transesophageal imaging and congenital heart disease, he has authored two influential textbooks on bedside clinical diagnosis using echocardiography. Since 2008, Dr. Shindler has been consistently recognized as one of the Top Doctors in the New York Metro Area, as well as repeated honors from esteemed publications like New York Magazine and Jersey's Best. His leadership extends to serving as Governor of the New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Cardiology, where he plays a pivotal role in the advancement of cardiology. Dr. Shindler is fluent in Spanish and Ukrainian, which enables accessible connection with diverse patient populations.
