Brief Narrative/Bio
Emily B. Rosenfeld, DO, FACOG, is an instructor in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Biostatistics and Epidemiology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Rosenfeld completed her fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Rutgers, where she did research work in treating postpartum hypertensive disorders. Before joining Rutgers, Dr. Rosenfeld completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York Medical College. Dr. Rosenfeld received her doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Health & Society at the University of Rochester. She is passionate about providing patient-centered care and working with her patients to navigate difficult circumstances.
Research Interests
Dr. Rosenfeld is a physician-scientist with a strong focus on improving pregnancy outcomes. Her research has centered on enhancing antepartum and postpartum blood pressure control using remote patient monitoring in those with hypertensive disorders during pregnancy. She has shared her findings through numerous regional and national research presentations. As the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Perinatal Research Consortium Principal Investigator, she leads the charge in several NIH and industry-sponsored clinical trials. Her research interests also encompass diabetes, epidemiology, genetics, environmental impact on pregnancy, and health outcomes.
