Eric Wasserman, MD, FACEP

Eric J. Wasserman is the Director of Observation Services and an Associate Professor at the Department of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Wasserman is board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). He earned his MD from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and his BA from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Wasserman completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

His academic interests include observation medicine, ED operations and administration, and medicolegal/risk management.
