Biography

Hyon Kim, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and an adult endocrinologist at RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group. She earned her medical degree and completed her internal medicine residency training at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. She then completed her endocrinology fellowship at NYU Grossman School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Kim is a general endocrinologist with particular interest in diabetes, thyroid disorders, and transgender medicine. She serves on the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She is currently involved in a study investigating the risk of developing diabetes in patients with mild to moderate traumatic brain injury.
