Bio

Jhocelyn Mesias is a physician assistant in the Division of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She earned her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University – Newark and gained valuable experience working as a medical assistant in Bariatric Surgery and Gastroenterology before completing her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Kean University. At Kean University, Jhocelyn excelled as a leader, serving as President of her program’s student society, a PA Student Mentor with the New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants (NJSSPA), and as the Northeast Regional Director on the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) Student Board of Directors. She is nationally board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Bilingual in English and Spanish, Jhocelyn is dedicated to providing high-quality care and supporting the Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery team in the operating room.

Outside of her professional life, Jhocelyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and staying active.
