Bio

Julie Wise is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine. She was born in Monmouth County and attended Lehigh University during her undergraduate tenure. She received her medical education from St. George's University in Grenada. She then completed a postgraduate Anesthesiology Residency at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and a Cardio-thoracic Anesthesiology at Cooper University Hospital.

Her areas of interest include non-cardiac surgery in the cardiac patient, thoracic anesthesia, and off-pump cardiac surgery. Her favorite part of her job is educating the residents and fellows. She enjoys teaching our trainees tips and tricks that she has picked up along the way, especially concerning procedural skills. Dr. Wise also enjoys educating them in the operating room environment on anesthetic principles.
