Justin McCormick, MD

Justin McCormick, MD is an assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He has subspecialty training in Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base surgery giving him the expertise to diagnose and treat diseases of the nose, sinuses, and anterior skull base.
His surgical interests include complex and revision sinus surgery, endoscopic minimally invasive approaches to sinus and skull base diseases, and endoscopic repair of cerebrospinal fluid leaks and encephaloceles. Dr. McCormick received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and completed his Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
His special interest in endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery led him to pursue subspecialty training at the University of California – Los Angeles where he completed his fellowship in Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base Surgery. Dr. McCormick is involved in clinical research projects evaluating treatment outcomes in patients with chronic sinusitis.
He has authored numerous research papers, clinical guidelines, and book chapters in addition to presenting his research at national meetings. He is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Rhinologic Society and is a peer-reviewer for multiple otolaryngology journals.
