Bio

As a fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist, Dr. Li specializes in treating children with sleep apnea, congenital neck masses, salivary gland disease, voice disorders, and complex airway and swallowing disorders.  Her surgical interests include endoscopic airway procedures for the treatment of laryngomalacia, subglottic stenosis, laryngeal clefts, and vocal cord dysfunction.

Dr. Li received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her medical degree from New York University. She completed her Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at George Washington University and developed a special interest in caring for pediatric patients after spending clinical and research time at Children’s National Medical Center. She completed her pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Li has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters.  She has received multiple awards for her research at national conferences and meetings. Her research interests include improving outcomes and access to care for tracheostomy-dependent children. She is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology.
