Bio

Lusine Nahapetyan, MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor and General Nephrologist. Dr. Nahapetyan completed medical school at Yerevan State Medical University in Armenia. She earned a Master’s Degree in Public Health and a PhD in Health Promotion and Behavior from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. She then completed her residency at Texas Tech University in Amarillo, Texas, followed by a Fellowship in Nephrology at Columbia University in New York City.

She is a general nephrologist who received excellent training in all aspects of nephrology at Columbia University, enabling her to care for all nephrology disorders. She has a particular interest in nephrology issues in cancer patients. Dr. Nahapetyan is well-published and has presented over twenty times at national scientific meetings.
