Marina Chekmareva is an associate professor at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. She completed her undergraduate and graduate education at Novosibirsk Medical School in Krasniy Prospekt 52, Russia. She continued her postgraduate training at the Institute of Therapy, Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Medical Sciences in Cardiovascular Diseases, the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital - New Brunswick in Pathology, Combined AP/CP Program, and the Weill Medical College of Cornell University - New York, NY - Presbyterian Hospital - Clinical Fellow, Gynecologic Pathology.
Her areas of interest include prostate cancer and metastasis, and gynecologic pathology.
