Bio Summary

Dr. Baker is an experienced clinician, clinical researcher and educator. As former Director of Pediatric Emergency Services at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center and at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital, and as former senior faculty member at Children’s hospital of Philadelphia and at Children’s Medical Center Dallas,  Dr. Baker provided complex clinical care to a wide scope of patients, and led and participated in numerous clinical research efforts, many of which led to publications in high-value journals, and contributed to the evolution of the standard of clinical care. Dr. Baker is considered an international expert in the field of pediatric emergency medicine.

Research Interests

My research interests lie within the realm of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. I am a recognized expert on the management of fever in infants and your children, having published landmark studies that have helped establish national standards of clinical care. My research interests also extend to injury prevention and administration of pediatric emergency services.
