Bio
Paul Peng is an Assistant Professor and Co-Director of Research in the Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Peng is board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
He earned his BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), his PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley followed by a fellowship in Applied Physics at Harvard University, and MD and MSCR from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Peng completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
His academic interests include learning health systems, impact of social determinants of health on emergency care, machine learning, addiction medicine, immunology, and resuscitation.
