Bio
Rhina Acevedo is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. Dr. Acevedo has been a part of the department since 1999 and has completed fellowship training in Obstetrics/Maternity Care.
For many years, she served as Medical Director to Trinity Health Center (Catholic Charities) and provided direct clinical care to the uninsured population in Perth Amboy. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Program Director in the New Brunswick Family Medicine Residency Program where she currently supervises the residents Maternity Care training. Her areas of interest include Resident Education, Maternity Care, and providing care to Underserved populations/Community Outreach.
