Bio

Rory Ulloque, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He also serves a leadership role as an academic hospitalist for the University Medical Group at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he practices inpatient medicine.

Dr. Ulloque attended Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (Class of 2009), where he received the Student Community Service Award for his work with the underserved population in New Brunswick, NJ.  He went on to complete a Family Medicine residency at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School @RWJUH (Class of 2012).

After completing his training, Dr. Ulloque joined the University Medical Group Hospitalist program at RWJUH, where he continues to provide acute care to hospitalized patients. He has also ventured out into private practice and played a pivotal role in the successful establishment of a chain of Urgent Care centers in Northern New Jersey.  He enjoys providing patient care in all venues, and relishes discussing the art of medicine with students, residents, and fellows in training.

Dr. Ulloque is fluent in both English and Spanish. He is part of the teaching faculty at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, and is an experienced presenter at medical and scientific conferences.
