Bio

Sara Heinert is the Co-Director of Research and an Assistant Professor at the Department of Emergency Medicine. She earned her PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago, her MPH from the University of Michigan, and her BA in Psychology and BA in Statistics from the University of Rochester.

Her academic interests include social emergency medicine, health disparities, youth as health advocates, hypertension and diabetes, and cancer screening and prevention.
