Sonalis Bunin, MD

Sonalis Bunin is an Associate Professor and Transplant Nephrologist. She completed medical school at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY. She completed her residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, followed by a Fellowship in Nephrology at the same institution. She then pursued a Fellowship in Transplant Nephrology at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she is actively involved in educating medical students, residents, and fellows. She has been repeatedly recognized for her kind and diligent care. She has published several papers on various topics in transplantation and has been an invited Grand Rounds speaker at several institutions.
