The Department of Emergency Medicine is committed to teaching emergency medical professionals how to provide compassionate and timely care to the patients they treat.

Transforming Emergency Medical Care

The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School offers a residency program in Emergency Medicine, a fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound, education and training through our Emergency Medicine clerkship, and various electives related to the field. The department also staffs the Emergency Department of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, which serves as the medical school's primary teaching affiliate.

Emergency Medicine Academic Support Fund

Established in support of our commitment to advancing emergency medicine through innovation, research, and excellence in education.

Donations to this Fund directly support:  Resident-led research initiatives; Academic enrichment opportunities; Conference participation and presentation, and Simulation and teaching resources

Our goal is to raise $5,000 to establish this new fund.

Every contribution—big or small—makes an impact -  helping our residents grow into leaders who will shape the field of emergency medicine.
